Same Kind of Different as Me

I had the opportunity to review Same Kind of Different as Me for Booksneeze.
Wow! This book tells the story of two men -- connected by a Christian woman -- destined to develop a divine friendship despite completely contrary socioeconomic backgrounds. At first, the book moved rather slowly. However, after three chapters the pace picked up and I found the book much easier to read. In fact, I couldn’t put the book down. God’s sovereignty is blatantly behind every twist and corner turned in the lives of Denver, Ron, and Debbie. I was certainly challenged to look at my life and what I trust God for. I also was encouraged by the boldness and faith of the main characters. I enjoy reading about God’s power to redeem lives. I am grateful that these men decided to share their lives and God’s work in them and through them. I would highly recommend this book.
